Real Madrid are hesitating over a push for Chelsea defender Toni Rudiger.
The Germany international is off contract in June and has had contact with Real Madrid via his agent and brother, Sahr Senesie.
However, AS says Rudiger's €12m-a-year - net - contract demands are deemed too steep by Real management.
Rudiger is currently on €6.5m-a-year and Chelsea's last offer was worth €8.5m-a-year.
Real remain keen, but not at the defender's current demands.
