Barcelona and Real Madrid have received a boost in the pursuit of Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland.
Marca says the LaLiga Santander duo is well placed to beat competition from Premier League counterparts.
Haaland, who could yet stay on at Dortmund for another season after this current campaign, has been linked with each side of the Clasico rivalry as well as Bayern Munich, Manchester City, and others.
"He doesn't like the Premier League much," Sky Sport Italia's transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio said. "It's not exactly his dream."
Di Marzio continued, explaining that LaLiga Santander is seen as "the perfect environment for him to play in," while admitting that staying in the Bundesliga is also a good option.
"Even if they sign [Kylian] Mbappe, Real Madrid would be an option."
