Lazio president Claudio Lotito insists coach Maurizio Sarri is safe.
Lotito is upset with the players' current performance, but also says he's happy with Sarri.
He said at the club's Christmas dinner: "The Lazio family has grown a lot, but some people have not grasped the importance of being part of it. Everyone must give their all in their role. Many people stop me on the street and ask me: 'President, what's going on?'. And I reply that some have not understood where they are.
"There are people who have also forgotten the team spirit. I see that many do not grasp the sacrifices that are made. Everyone's work must be respected: there are people who live for you, you have seen it. You exist because someone makes you visible.
"Today I met a man who can make a difference in the world of football, Mr. Sarri. I didn't know him, now yes. He lives on football for passion. And if someone may think that the coach is precarious, it is not like that."
