Sarri instead held a meeting with the players after another disappointing result.
Lazio president Claudio Lotito was not happy after the 2-1 defeat to Alessio Dionisi's men at the Mapei Stadium, stretching a poor run of results for the Biancocelesti.
Sarri's men have only won one in their last five games across all competitions.
Calciomercato.com reports the coach canceled training on Monday and instead held a 90 minute meeting with the players to discuss their situation.
