Brentford boss Thomas Frank says Kristoffer Ajer could make their clash with Aston Villa.
Ajer was close to facing Manchester City in midweek.
Frank said, "The good thing, is that he's training now with the team, full training sessions so that's a big plus for us. Of course, we'd like him to be available for the team as quick as possible.
"I hope he can be on the bench for Villa, that decision will take place in the next coming days and then hopefully start him in the Port Vale game and see how he is."
