The Premier League side are without a win in their past five matches in the league.
Following a mid-week draw with West Ham United, Brighton are preparing to take on Southampton on Saturday.
Adam Lallana, Jeremy Sarmiento and Adam Webster are all likely to miss that game.
"There's no good news, but no bad news either," said Potter.
"It's still early days in terms of assessing everything.
"There's nothing to report, other than all those three will not be available at the weekend. But as for the extent of the injuries, I haven't got that information yet."
