Kota Kinabalu: Police detained a 50-year-old man and seized a whopping 55.4kg of syabu worth RM1.994 million.
Sabah Deputy Police Commissioner Datuk Jauteh Dikun, in a media conference, here, Wednesday, said the man was detained at a parking space in Inanam at about 4.15pm on Jan 4.
Preliminary investigations showed that the man was part of a drug syndicate and obtained his drug supplies via courier services.
Not only was he found positive for drugs, but he also had 17 previous drug convictions and theft.
