Barcelona sports chief Mateu Alemany says Daniel Alves will be registered with the La Liga this week.
Alemany was keen to shut down talk of there not being room in the budget to register Alves' salary.
He said, "We have room to register Dani, it will be between today and tomorrow. The possibilities of other signings depend on departures.
"With Ferran we made an exception, it was worth signing him before. When we manage to comply with the FFP we will decide if we will have more incorporations.
"Work is being done to screen the market and find out the possible options, and these steps will continue until the market is over."
