Barcelona sporting director Mateu Alemany believes Ousmane Dembele has had enough time to settle on new contract terms.

Dembele's current deal is due to expire in June and negotiations over a new agreement have dragged on for months.

Alemany said this morning: "No meeting is scheduled for today. And we don't like to explain our schedule.

"We have been talking to his agents for five months. They know the position of the club, we have had a lot of patience, they know we want them to stay, they have an offer and it cannot be delayed much more.

"They know all the scenarios and we wait for a definitive answer to adopt the measures that we have very clear and that will be the ones that best suit the club."
