Former Eibar sporting director Fran Garagarza believes Barcelona will struggle to finish in the top four this season.
Garagarza isn't convinced by Xavi's squad.
He told Marca: "It will not be easy for them to get into the Champions League. It is experiencing a crisis that has not been remembered in many years and that takes its toll.
"Sevilla and Villarreal are very strong, also Real.
"Atlético and Real Madrid are fixed in the Champions ... . It will be difficult for them (Barca) to achieve it.
"It will depend a lot on the reinforcements and the level they give. The young people of the house continue with their adaptation process, of growing as footballers. They are contributing. Abde, Nico, Gavi ... they are going to be very important."
