Chelsea continue to push Olympique Lyon to release on-loan left-back Emerson Palmieri back to them.
The Italy international is on a season-long loan with OL with the deal not including a recall option.
OL have already rejected a €4m offer to break Emerson's loan, though the player is pushing the French giants to send him back.
RMC says while Chelsea had been looking for a new left-back, including PSG's Layvin Kurzawa, the Emerson deal is not completely over.
Key to the breakthrough is the player wants to now return to London.
