LABUAN: Labuan is poised to take a global position as a major energy transhipment hub in Asia by the first quarter of next year.
The project is in the Victoria Bay deep-water area spanning 3,309 hectares supported initially by six ship (STS) berths with safe water depths of 30 metres. The area is known as Victoria Bay Port Limit (VBPL).
