Manchester United defender Axel Tuanzebe is a phone call away from joining Napoli.
Currently on-loan with Aston Villa, Tuanzebe is waiting on the all-clear from manager Steven Gerrard to break the arrangement and the make move to Naples.
Napoli and United have already agreed terms over a six month loan worth €800,000 with the option to sign permanently in June for €20m.
Corriere dello Sport says Tuanzebe hopes to hear on Monday from Gerrard about terminating his deal with Villa.
The Villa manager stated last week he didn't wish to lose the young defender, though he has barely counted on him since his appointment.
