Arsenal goalkeeper Deyan Iliev has terminated his contract by mutual consent and leaves after spending over nine years with the club.

The North Macedonia Under-21 international has also terminated his contract with Slovakian Super League side SKF Sered, where he had made nine appearances since joining on loan at the start of this season.

The 26-year-old, who joined Arsenal in September 2012 from North Macedonian side FK Belasica, developed through the academy and played a key role in the under-23s title-winning 2017/18 season, making eight appearances and keeping six clean sheets along the way.

Iliev, who captained the under-23s in recent seasons in Premier League 2, also had loan spells with Shrewsbury Town in League One last season and with Polish top division side Jagiellonia Bialystok, together with a previous spell with SKF Sered, both in 2019/20.
