Sky Deutschland says Sosa is wanted by Chelsea this month, though they face competition from Inter Milan.
Left-back Sosa is wanted by Chelsea after losing Ben Chilwell for the season due to a knee injury. The Blues recalled Kenedy from his loan with Flamengo, though manager Thomas Tuchel isn't convinced by the Brazilian.
Instead, Tuchel is pushing for Sosa, 24, to be signed. The defender has a deal to 2024 and is rated at €30m by VfB.
Inter Milan are also keen, while Aston Villa considered Sosa before signing Everton defender Lucas Digne.
