Sevilla midfielder Fernando Reges is happy with his new contract.
The veteran penned terms this week to 2024.
The former Manchester City midfielder said, "I am very happy. I worked hard to get to this moment and I am enjoying a lot with my family because we know how difficult it is to stay here at Sevilla.
"My priority was always to stay here. I always tried to negotiate the best way to stay and always I thought about being here. We reached an agreement and I am going to continue here for two more years.
"Sevilla is growing more every year that passes. The demand is greater, the players have more competition within the squad and I am happy to be part of this growth. I hope to continue doing well on the field and that Sevilla always remains in the top four."
