Angel Correa has signed a new contract with Atletico Madrid.
The Argentina international has signed terms to 2026 today. His previous deal was to run to 2024.
Correa penned his new deal just 24 hours after scoring twice in victory over Rayo Vallecano.
Correa has six goals in the LaLiga, just one behind the team's top scorer, Luis Suárez, who has not scored since November 7 in Valencia.
Atletico are now expected to turn to Jan Oblak and Thomas Lemar and extend their deals, which both currently run to 2023.
