Watford manager Claudio Ranieri says Turkish midfielder Ozan Tufan needs time to adapt to English football.
The 26-year-old has failed to impress in nine appearances since joining from Fenerbahce.
When asked about the midfielder's suitability after the match, Ranieri told the Watford Observer: "I will try, when I have the chance, to put him in because he needs to get to Premier League performance level.
"For me it's important, the skill is high in the player, but he needs to take the rhythm of the Premier League."
