SUBANG JAYA, Jan 13 — Subang Jaya residents who are keen to get their booster shots can do so at the Selcare Clinic in USJ 1.
However, Subang Jaya assemblyman Michelle Ng Mei Sze said the public need to first register through the SELangkah (Step in, Safely) mobile app, and wait for their appointment slots.
“For now, the constituency does not intend to organise the Selangor Vaccination Programme (Selvax) Booster, as it is already available at the Selcare Clinic where residents can get their additional jabs.
“Apart from that, I am worried that not many will participate in the programme. Therefore, if we receive any applications for booster shots, we will advise them to go to the clinic in USJ 1,” she said.
On December 7 last year, Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari announced that 157,000 booster doses will be given for free under the programme, beginning on December 8.
He said individuals aged 18 and above who have completed two doses of the vaccine can get their booster shot at the nearest Selcare Clinic.
