Kota Kinabalu: A new Covid-19 cluster has been found at SMK Ranau according to an update.
The index patient in the Puri Ranau cluster was a 19-year-old student found positive through a self-test after she became symptomatic, said the update shared by Sabah's spokesman for the crisis, Datuk Masidi Manjun.
A confirmatory test also found her positive and screening among her classmates and roommates discovered six more cases.
All the positive female students were Categories-1-and-2 infections, said the update, adding Sabah recorded 201 new cases today, 38 more than yesterday.
