Salernitana have opened talks with former Italy international striker Eder.
Sky Italia says the 35-year-old is ready to return to Serie A and new Salernitana sporting director Walter Sabatini has opened talks with the Sao Paulo striker.
Eder has played with Empoli, Brescia, Cesena, Frosinone, Sampdoria and Inter Milan, scoring 60 goals in 245 appearances in Serie A.
While Brazilian-born, Eder is an Italy international.
He is under contract with Brazilian club Sao Paulo until December 2022, but Salernitana hope to sign him in January.
