Aston Villa are weighing up a bid for Brighton midfielder Yves Bissouma.
Villa remain also interested in signing Brighton's Bissouma this window. The Mali international is valued at £50m, says the Daily Mail.
However, manager Steven Gerrard may have to wait until the summer to sign the midfielder, who is currently representing Mali at the Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon.
Bissouma will have just 12 months of his deal remaining at the Amex come the end of the season and it will represent the last opportunity Graham Potter's side could secure a large transfer fee.
Gerrard though may have to also fight off interest from Liverpool and Arsenal for the defensive midfielder.
