Everton defender Michael Keane says he enjoys the busy Christmas schedule.
Keane's Everton side are set to welcome Graham Potter's Brighton to Goodison Park following 17 days without a game.
“Personally, I like the busy schedule at Christmas. It's obviously a tradition here in England and so it's good to play games every three days," the defender said.
“I know some managers and players have different opinions, but I enjoy it. The experience we've just had means the games are going to come later on down the line.
It's been frustrating, to be honest. We've been preparing for games only to have them called off, so it's not like we've been relaxing on a two-week break.
“We've built toward every game, only to have them called off. So it's been quite challenging, especially for the fitness coaches.
“They've been getting us to the right (fitness) levels. But then the games were off, so we've had some down days. Then we've had to prepare for the next one."
