Brighton are aiming to sign Union Saint-Gilloise striker Deniz Undav.
The two clubs are owned by Paul Barber.
Undav has enjoyed a brilliant season for Belgian First Division leaders Union Saint-Gilloise.
He is their top scorer with 18 goals in 25 league appearances and has also provided ten assists.
The Athletichave reported that it is understood the 25-year-old would remain on loan at the Belgian side for the remainder of the season if they are able to sign him.
