BEAUFORT: The body of missing fisherman, Kifli Jambul, 43, was found stuck to a wooden pole in the middle of a river, Tuesday, not far from the search and rescue camp site.
The man was initially reported missing after his empty boat was found stranded at Tanjung Batu-Batu.
Fire and Rescue Chief Mohammad Hasbullah Nenggok said the body was discovered at noon by a group of fishermen who joined in the search.
About 100 fishing boats comprising fishermen from Kg Lubok and Weston took part in the search.
The body has been sent for to Beaufort Hospital for post mortem.
