Real Madrid have ended their interest in Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland.

The Norway international is expected to leave Dortmund at the end of the season, with Real Madrid among his confirmed suitors.

But the Daily Star says Real have now pulled back and have dropped their plans to bringing Haaland to Spain.

Real are happy to focus on PSG striker Kylian Mbappe, who is expected to join the Los Merengues when his contract expires in June.

Real's decision leaves the likes of Barcelona and Chelsea to battle big spending Manchester City, where Haaland's father played, to compete for the striker's signature.
