Kota Kinabalu: Philippines Airlines (PAL), the country’s flag carrier has not abandoned its earlier plan to operate a twice weekly direct flight from Zamboanga City to Kota Kinabalu City in Sabah, Malaysia.
“PAL remains interested in launching the Zamboanga City-Kota Kinabalu direct flights once the restrictions brought about by the Covid-19 pandemic ease,” Mindanao Development Authority (MinDA) assistant secretary Romeo Montenegro told the 12th MinDA Anniversary Virtual Media Conference last week.
