Manchester City-owned wing-back Issa Kabore has been named Young Player of the Tournament at the Africa Cup of Nations.

The right-back, who is currently enjoying a loan spell at ESTAC Troyes, played a part in all of Burkina Faso's fixtures at the tournament as they reached the last four.

Kabore registered three assists, the joint highest of any player in the mid-season tournament.

Burkina Faso were knocked out of the AFCON semi-finals by eventual winners Senegal.

Reaching the semi-finals was Burkina Faso's joint second-best finish in the tournament, having reached the final back in 2013 where they lost to Ivory Coast.
