Liverpool fullback Kostas Tsimikas has been reprimanded by management after his antics at Wembley last night.
The Daily Mail says footage from Liverpool's Carabao Cup celebrations appears to show defender Tsimikas spitting into the stands below.
Tsimikas, who didn't play a single minute of Liverpool's penalty shootout triumph over Chelsea, was singing and dancing with his team-mates in Wembley Stadium's Royal Box as they were presented with the trophy.
Footage shows Liverpool's players lining up against the barrier with the winners' medals around their neck.
Tsimikas is then seen leaning forward and appearing to spit towards the stand directly below the box. Alternative angles appear to suggest that nobody was directly beneath where Tsimikas apparently spat.
While nobody was directly below Tsimikas following their own investigation, Liverpool have reminded the player, who is said to be apologetic about the incident, of his responsibilities following the reaction to the footage.
