Real Madrid defender Ferland Mendy admits there was disappointment after their Champions League defeat at PSG.

Real lost the first-leg of their round 16 tie 1-0 last night.

Mendy, who will be suspended for the second-leg, said: “We are very disappointed. They had chances, we conceded a goal in stoppage time... when we had the ball, they pressed well.

"We came out better in the second half, it created more space. But we have to raise the level of play, play more together, find each other, go and press them.

"We will be at home for the return match. Kylian Mbappe? We knew he would bring a lot to his team, he scored this goal... I have nothing else to say."
