Southampton manager Ralph Hasenhuttl says summer signing Roman Perraud has now adapted to English football.
The French left-back was excellent for Saints in Wednesday's dramatic 3-2 win over Tottenham in north London.
Speaking about his summer signing, Hasenhuttl told press: "I mean, this is the reason why we signed him.
"Nobody's coming in this club and is immediately on the highest level. I think this is Premier League, you have to adapt.
"Some get it quicker, some take a little bit longer. But in the end, everybody has to learn.
"It has to be open minded and young players.
"We always speak about the empty hard disk and asked to put the right stuff on it, and this is what we do.
"And you can see that they learn quick and perform well."
