Manchester City chief Ferran Soriano says they're convinced about the potential of football in the USA.
City have New York City FC as their MLS franchise - a team which won last season's championship.
Asked about their plans, Soriano insisted: “We want MLS to become one of the best football leagues in the world.
"More people watch football in the US than in the UK.
"Audiences have a lot to choose from, but the American market is huge. The 2026 World Cup will amplify this effect, as it did in 1994."
