Tottenham midfielder Tanguy Ndombele admits he has taken a risk by leaving the club on loan for Lyon.
The Frenchman will spend the second half of this season at the team that sold him to Spurs in 2019.
Ndombele has struggled to live up to his price tag in the Premier League, struggling to assert himself under several coaches at the London club.
He told a press conference after signing: "I left through the front door and it's a risk to come back.
"I took that risk. I think I'm a better player than when I left. I learned in England even if it didn't happen [on the pitch]. I'm better physically and mentally."
