'Massive': Record 5,565 new cases, two school clusters in Sabah

Kota Kinabalu: Sabah saw record daily Covid-19 cases again today at 5,565 and another two school clusters according to spokesman for the crisis, Datuk Masidi Manjun.

"Massive 5,565 new cases (+771)!" Masidi announced on Twitter.

"KK 1,395 (+491) with 66% sporadic infection (Sabah 62.4% sporadic), clear warning to avoid crowded places or gatherings; Penampang 606 (+93, 68% sporadic), Tawau 430 (+157, 84% sporadic), Lahad Datu 398 (+156). Two education clusters.

99.59% of the new cases were asymptomatic or light infections, added Masidi.

The previous record was 5,082 cases on Wednesday.
