Brentford midfielder Christian Eriksen admits to his near-death experience at Euro 2020.
The creative star suffered a cardiac arrest on the pitch when Denmark played Finland in the competition's opener in the summer of 2021.
The 29-year-old required resuscitation from doctors and now has an implantable cardioverter-defibrillator (ICD) in his heart.
"I was gone from this world for five minutes until they got my heartbeat back," Eriksen told BBC Sport.
"It is a bit out of the world experience, weird, because it did happen and I was where I was, but to see where I am now then is very weird."
