MySejahtera app is used by all Malaysian before they enter a premise and it even enables you to do your health assessment to contain the spread of COVID-19. However, many are confused with the different MYSejahtera colours presented on your status. Here’s what it all means:
BLUE COLOUR
- When MYSJ is in this state, you can roam around freely.
- Low-risk
YELLOW COLOUR
- Has risk of infection
- Status will turn to “Person Under Surveillance” if you’ve travelled abroad in the past 14 days.
- Self-isolation is needed
- Be sure to submit your health update everyday in app
ORANGE COLOUR
- Self-isolate for precaution (not mandatory)
- Close contacts who has symptoms would have to undergo five days of home quarantine.
- You need to submit your close contact name and ID of the person who is tested positive on MYSj.
- No quarantine for close contacts who are asymptomatic and had their booster shot.
RED COLOUR
- Tested positive for COVID-19
- MUST Self-quarantine
- Report your health status everyday for 14 days on the MYSejahtera app
- If symptoms worsen, go to your nearest hospital
- According to the Health Minister Khairy Jamaluddin, effective from 1st March, do note that if you’re a casual contact, you will not see any change in your status on MySejahtera but you will now be notified via the application . Do self-isolate and do a self-test if you develop symptoms!
Do remember to take the necessary steps and quarantine yourself to avoid infecting others. Always wear a face mask in public, wash your hands frequently and use a hand sanitiser. Stay safe all!
