Brighton boss Graham Potter feels they deserved something from defeat at home to Aston Villa.
Goals from Matty Cash and Ollie Watkins condemned Albion to a 2-0 defeat, which left them tenth in the Premier League.
Potter said, “We are frustrated by the scoreline but performance-wise I thought we were okay, it was night and day compared to Burnley. They had the big moments go their way.
“We started well and their goal came out of nothing from our perspective. That made it difficult against a well-organised side with quality players at the top end of the pitch.
“We had a couple of chances in a game of not many chances but we were punished for our mistakes, particularly on the second goal. Goals change games at this level. We fought to get back into it and we needed the important moments – like the chance for Alexis [Mac Allister] - to go our way.
“But overall I thought the performance was fine. We pushed and had some opportunities, and even though the second goal took it away from us we kept going. We perhaps didn't create as much as we'd like so that is something to work on."
