Kota Kinabalu: Adelinah Lintanga hopes to be the first Sabahan to conquer Everest come May, a feat attempted by fellow Sabahan Doris J Sitaun eight years ago.
Doris, at age 45, attempted to scale the world’s highest peak but her dreams were cut short after an avalanche killed 16 Sherpa climbers in the Khumbu Icefall on the western spur of Mount Everest.
