Manchester City are eyeing Barcelona defender Ronald Araujo.
Knowing new contract talks are stalling with Barca, City have made contact with Araujo's agent Edmundo Kabchi.
Araujo's deal runs to 2023 and he remains one of the lowest paid members of the senior squad.
Sport says Kabchi has warned Barca of City's interest and encouraged them to get serious if they want to keep the Uruguay international.
For his part, Araujo feels it's time to be paid what he's worth.
