Watford's inability to sell one of their goalkeepers prevented them from signing Dean Henderson from Manchester United.

It has been claimed that United were too blame for Henderson's failure to sign with Watford on deadline day.

However,The Manchester Evening Newssays sources at United are blaming Watford for the move collapsing.

The Hornets have Ben Foster, Daniel Bachmann and Rob Elliot to choose from in goal.

Red Devils manager Ralf Rangnick has stated that he wants three available goalkeepers for his squad.

This was originally believed to be the reason why Henderson's move to Vicarage Road was blocked.

Rangnick has Henderson, David De Gea and Tom Heaton as his top three goalkeepers.
