France coach Didier Deschamps has had his say on West Ham defender Kurt Zouma's controversy.
Zouma has had his pet cats removed from his home after video emerged of him mistreating one of them.
Deschamps said, "I was very surprised by Zouma. What happened is something unacceptable, intolerable, of nameless cruelty.
"The images are shocking and unbearable. I'm not a judge, I'm here to make selections with different criteria.
"Players can spend time out for a while when they make mistakes, and that will not change in the next call-up."
