Bristol City's 20-year-old starlet Han-Noah Messengo is on Southampton's radar.
The Daily Echo says scouts from Saints and Leicester have been checking on the youngster during matches this season.
A source close to Bristol City has told the Daily Echo that Sam Stanton, who was appointed as player insights analyst at Saints in January 2021, has been on lists at Ashton Gate.
As such, Saints will likely be aware of young Massengo's progress, but any serious interest cannot be verified. Forward Antoine Semenyo, 22, and midfielder Alex Scott, 18, have also attracted interest from clubs above them with their performances this campaign.
