Flamengo are delaying the announcement of the signing of Manchester United attacker Andreas Pereira.
Pereira is set to complete a permanent move to current loan side Flamengo soon.
However, ESPN Brasil have explained why a deal hasn't taken place yet.
Once the deal is confirmed, Flamengo will have to wait around five-days before they can officially register the player, something they've been reluctant to do in case he misses a big match.
Flamengo face Atlético in the Super Cup this weekend, so they will look to complete the deal after he has played in that match.
