Sporting CP midfielder Matheus Nunes remains on Everton's radar.
O Jogo says Everton scouts have started scouting Nunes once again with the view to a potential move.
The report states that Everton had scouts in attendance to watch Nunes in action for Sporting against Porto last Friday.
The Blues were first credited with an interest in Nunes last summer, before the player opted to stay in Portugal.
Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola said of Nunes after their Champions League win last night: "Matheus Nunes is one of the best players in the world today. Despite the difficulties and some mistakes, I have to be very satisfied because we took a big step towards the next round.
"Nunes is one of the best at the moment."
