Barcelona chiefs have assured Aston Villa they won't stand in their way if they wish to sign Philippe Coutinho outright.
On a six-month loan, Coutinho's arrangement includes a verbal agreement over a permanent option to the tune of €40m.
Marca says Barca are eager to clear him off the books and will not seek to bring the Brazilian back this summer, no matter how well he does with the Villans.
In three games, Coutinho has scored twice and produced an assist for Villa.
His contract with Barca runs to 2023.
