Did you know that Hong Kong celebrity Andy Lau and Malaysian tycoon Tan Sri Vincent Tan share a close bond?
The award-winning singer just serenaded a very happy birthday to Pisces baby Tan, who turns 70 tomorrow, 23 February 2022.
In a clip shared by Tan’s daughter Chryseis, Lau, dressed in blue, sang “Happy birthday to my brother” in his melodious voice. He could not make it to the all-important birthday bash last weekend.
Berjaya Corporation staff, and Tan’s son Morvin, who welcomed his newborn baby in Berlin, Germany, also sent their best wishes via video.
Others who were physically present on stage at the Berjaya Corporation founder’s birthday party are Malaysian vocal powerhouses Siti Nurhaliza and Nikki Palikat, who serenaded Tan and his guests.
By the way, Andy Lau is actually distantly related to Tan since the singer’s wife Carol Chu, whom he married in 2008, is actually the niece of the Malaysian businessman-investor.
Wouldn’t it be nice if Andy Lau could wish us a happy birthday too? Tan Sri Vincent Tan is so lucky. Happy birthday!
