Former Manchester City winger Shaun Wright-Phillips admits he's "worried" for Leeds United.

Marcelo Bielsa's side currently sit 16th, six points above the drop zone heading into the back end of the campaign.

However, Leeds have been unfortunate with a number of injuries as Patrick Bamford, Kalvin Phillips and Liam Cooper have been missing for a whole host of matches.

It has been a frustrating campaign for the Whites, who haven't been able to re-find the same level of consistency as they did last term and Wright-Phillips has outlined why this could be the case.

Speaking to Premier League Productions, he said: "They want to play the same way. But with their injuries, they're trying to replace with players, no offence, that are not as fit or have the strength.

"Way too open and they concede too many goals. I am worried for them."
