RMC's Salim Baungally reports West Ham are eager to keep hold of Areola long-term.
He told Foot Mercato: "We don't know yet if he will stay, but West Ham like him a lot.
"(Lukasz) Fabianski is in front of him but eventually Areola will pass. The objective is to have a goalkeeper for the years to come."
