Sporting CP midfielder Marcus Edwards was delighted to see Champions League action last night at Manchester City.
The former Tottenham attacker joined Sporting in January from Vitoria.
Edwards said, "In the first game we were unlucky. Today we showed another image of the group.
"Returning to England and playing, with friends and family watching, was very good.
"At the beginning of the season [still with Vitória de Guimarães] I didn't expect to be playing in the Champions League now. I'm grateful, it's come true."
