Italian giants Roma must consult Chelsea if they wish to sell Tammy Abraham before the summer of 2023.

The Blues have a buy-back clause that activates that summer, if they wish to bring Abraham back to the club.

However, Gazzetta dello Sport claims the deal that took Abraham to Roma last summer means he cannot be sold without Chelsea's approval until that summer.

The Blues would have a chance to match any offers for Abraham, but it is unclear if they could categorically stop a transfer to a Premier League rival.

The 24-year-old has impressed for Jose Mourinho's team this season, becoming a key part of their side.

Manchester United and Arsenal have both been linked with the Chelsea academy graduate.
